In the name of God Amen. April 20 1896. I William Maneely of Ballynafie [sic] and parish of Ardboe do now through the uncertainty of life and to prevent controversy after my death make this my last will and testament. I bequeath to my daughter Matilda the sum of one pound sterling. I bequeath to my daughter Mary the sum of fifteen pounds sterling. I bequeath to my daughter Esther the sum of five pounds sterling. I bequeath to my son William all my title and interest in the land I possess with the houses there on also all the cattle and stock on the land with the household furniture and all things him to pay all debts and demands connected therewith. And it is my wishes that my wife Margaret Jane [nee Wright] would live during her natural life with my son William but if he should not agree thereto I bequeath to her that portion of the house known as the parlour and sleeping rooms attached thereto also that portion of the land known by the name of garden and long field during her natural life and at her death to fall into my son William free. Also I nominate and appoint Charles Anderson of Eary and John Bell of Gortigal as executors to this my last will and testament signed and sealed by the testator
