As I may be called away suddenly, I leave this as my will. I request that I may be buried in the most private manner. I leave everything I die possessed of real and personal to my dear wife at her entire disposal and I trust that she and her nephew and niece may live together in the same perfect harmony they have hitherto enjoyed. £400 part of the legacy of my father unpaid I leave to my brothers, James and Stewart. I leave my wife and the Revd John Lighton my executors.
