Martin Luther Miller was a cook in the service and after the service. He served in the Navy in World War I, and in the Merchant Marines in World War II and the Korean War. Eventually, Martin retired to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he is buried in Bay Pines, a military cemetery. His wife, Norma, is buried in Chicago's Graceland Cemetery.
