- Peg Forden, an attractive girl, was often unkind to her younger and less attractive sister, Helen. Peg often stole Helen's boyfriends. At 15, Peg got a fake birth certificate to say she was 17 so that she could work at the phone company and live with the Harrison grandparents (John and Maggie) after her mother became too ill to care all the children. Peg was Grandma Harrison's favorite. Shortly afterwards, Peg married.
After Floyd and Peg divorced, Floyd's sister raised their two girls in Chicago.
Peg then married Wallace Johnson, a metalurgist and inventor from New York. His company moved him all over the East Coast. There were no children from this marriage.
In 1993, Peg was blind of Imaculata Degenerate, an eye condition where the center of vision is lost. (Peg's maternal aunt Alice also had this.)
