  Mother died in her sleep early Friday morning, January 25, 2002. Linda went over around 6:00AM to check on them and Mother was cool and appeared to be not breathing. Rescue workers worked on her for 1/2 hour at the house and brought her to South County Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Providence Journal, Saturday, January 26, 2002 MARGARET E. FARR - South Kingstown MARGARET E. FARR, 82, of Saugatucket Road, died yesterday at home. She was the wife of Edwin C. Farr. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late William A. and Margaret C. (Tainsh) Byrne, she had lived in Warwick before moving to South Kingstown 10 years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Judith A. Benford and Nancy E. Jones, both of South Kingstown, Margaret A. Cuddy of Natick, Mass., and Linda A. Farr of Narragansett; a brother, Robert Byrne of Dedham, Mass.; and 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Byrne. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
