She taught in local schools including Bishop Ridge, Nash Ridge and Hazel Dell in Kenosha County. Rose and Richard operated the Rising Sun Finley Store from 1923 until 1982 when Rose retired.

  Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2003 Rose Rich?s son Don just closed the Finley Store in Rising Sun this past year. You can still get your picture in front of the store with the ?Finley Store? sign overhead if you hurry to Rising Sun. Don lives in Soldier?s Grove and his brother Frank lives in Viroqua and brother Bill lives in Kenosha. They are all great visitors and know the recent history of the Finleys in the area. dickfinley Sent: Friday, August 01, 2003 The store was in Rising Sun. My dad, Maurice, liked to visit with Rose Leahy who he called "Rose Rich" because she was married to his Uncle Rich. The store was across the street from Crowley's Tavern and Bernie's barbershop. I think Rose's granddaughter, Rita Finley Helgerson, is still in the area. Her grandson, Pat Finley, might be in Viroqua and another grandson, Dennis, is in Milton, WI. Nancy Finley
