  	This is the second marriage for both Cornelius and Margaret. Cornelius had two daughters still in Ireland. Margaret's first husband had come to America before her. She was to follow him, but she was never able to find him. So he was given up fo dead. She had a daughter, Margaret Murphy, who married Dave Nugent. This couple lived in Whitman, Massachusetts all their lives. Cornelius and Margaret had their first three children while living in Whitman, Massachusetts, but moved to Vernon County, Wisconsin, in 1863. The original farm of Cornelius and Margaret was divided into three parts: one part to Neil (and later owned by Kathryn Leahy, daughter of Dennis and Anne, until her death in 1987), the "Old William Leahy farm" in the middle, and Dennis and Anne Leahy's farm (now the Joe Finley farm).
