- Christ came to the U.S. as a child in 1884. His wife, Gena, is aunt of Gusta Hanson who married Anton Holman, father of Earnest Holman. Christ was a cook in lumber camps.
Christ and Gena settled in Washburn, WI., on a farm near Sodersfrom farm at Sioux River Hill. Clarence was born in 1906, after Christ had died on 05 Nov, 1905, of typhoid fever. He is buried in Washburn.
After his death, his wife Gena married Frank MARION of Washburn, WI. Franks's well known farm area, Marion's Hill, became Mt. Valhalla, a skiing and sports area west of Washburn.
