  • Notes  Married:
    • Caroline remarried Adolph Schmidt after being deserted by Mr. Leichnitz. According to Jeanette Tober, she did follow her four daughters to Buffalo, and is buried at St. Matthew's Cemetery. The grave stone is a "Washington monument" shape of barely readable limestone, in view of George Leichnitz's stone (Caroline's nephew).
