Feb 17 1838 [Died] It is our painful duty to inform our readers of the death of the Rev. Edward Reid, of Ramelton, on the night of Sunday last the 11th inst., in the 56th year of his age. For a period of 32 years he was Minister of the Presbyterian Congregation of Ramelton. He was interred in Ramelton Churchyard on Wednesday morning (Londonderry Sentinel)
