January 20 1824 It is our painful duty to record the death of Mr. John Ramsay, son of the Rev. Wm. Ramsay, Raphoe. This amiable and interesting young man departed this life the 15th inst. He had entered on his 21st year, and lately finished his collegiate studies. To a mind richly stored with classical, scientific, and scriptural attainments, he added a mildness and modesty of demeanour, which endeared him to all his acquaintance (Strabane Morning Post)
