January 24 1835 [Married] On the 6th inst., by the Rev. A. Clements, Mr. James Baird, to Miss Sarah Morrison, of Greencastle, Lower Moville (Londonderry Sentinel)
June 8 1839 [Married] On the 8th ult., by the Rev. J.P. Dickey, of Carnone, Mr. Alexander Morrison, of Drummananey, to Miss Rachael Stevenson, of Raphoe (Londonderry Sentinel)
January 20 1844 [Died] On Saturday last, between one and two o'clock of the day, James Morrison, a mariner, aged 26 years, drowned after his punt capsized in the Rosses Bay. His younger brother, who was with him, being saved by Patrick Gillispie aged 14 years. His body was found the next day, and on Monday morning next, the inquest was held upon it by William Ellis, Esq., coroner, a verdict of 'accidentally drowned' was returned (Londonderry Sentinel)
