This interesting document was sent to me many years ago by a genealogical researcher who unfortunately omitted to state its source; however, as an early surviving emigration list it is too important not to submit it to CoTyroneIreland.com   With a little effort, it has been possible to identify many of the former places of residence of the emigrants – these are contained within []

The sailing of the new American ship Brutus for Philadelphia and Newcastle, Delaware, was advertised in the Londonderry Journal from 26 February 1805. The departure of the ship with linens and passengers was reported in the Londonderry Journal 30 April1805 and its safe arrival at Philadelphia was noted in the Londonderry Journal 8 August 1805.
