Clogherney Presbyterian Church, Beragh, Clogherney Parish, Co. Tyrone Marriages 1845-1870

Extracted from 34 FHL films of Civil Registration of Marriages in Ireland
Transcribed, compiled and submitted by

Clogherney was erected as a joint congregation with Pettigo in 1720, the first minister being the REV. JOSEPH HEMPHILL, a native of Castlederg, Co. Tyrone

The following surviving records of this congregation have been microfilmed by staff of PRONI (Public Record Office of Northern Ireland), Belfast, where they may be consulted:

Baptisms 1865-1984; Marriages 1845-1930 (PRONI Ref. MIC.1P/246}

Printed history of the church (PRONI Ref. D3007/T/631)

The condition of the original records and the quality of filming has made transcription challenging and at times difficult. Where possible the Clogherney tithe applotment book and Griffiths Valuation (c1858) have been consulted for confirmation of families and townland addresses.
