Barr Parish Church, Church of Ireland, Kilskeery, Co. Tyrone Marriages 1845-66
and several marriages 1870-92

Extracted from 40 FHL films of Civil Registration of Marriages in Ireland

Barr Church of Ireland Parish is partly in Kilskeery, Donacavey and Dromore civil parishes, Co. Tyrone.

The following surviving early records for Barr parish church have been microfilmed by the staff of PRONI, Belfast, where they may be consulted:

Baptisms, 1880-1982; Marriages, 1845-1934, Burials, 1885-1921; PRONI Ref. MIC1/223

The condition of the original marriage records, a degree of difficulty in discerning the handwriting and quality of filming make transcription challenging and wherever possible the Kilskeery, Donacavey and Dromore tithe applotment books and Griffiths Valuation (c1860) have been consulted in an attempt to confirm families and townland addresses.
