I am trying to research parents of Ellen Curry

If my research is correct i found Ellen Curry was born on 20 March 1874, Aghakinsallagh glebe daughter of Ann and Edward. She married William Quinn on 20 November 1897 in Dungannon, Tyrone. They had eight children in 49 years. She died on 28 June 1935 in Tullyniskan, Tyrone, at the age of 61.

I would like to find any documents of her mother Ann Curry.

My research tells me she was nee Quinn born in 1833 in Dromore, Tyrone, her father, james, and her mother was Mary McGuire

I would be very grateful for your input..

Ellen McGonigal born about 1780 in Ireland and daughter Margaret McGonigal born 1804 in Ireland? They immigrated to the USA about 1827 when Margaret married Henry A. Kelly born in Maryland in 1804 to unknown parents. Henry A. Kelly was a stone cutter in Washington County, Maryland from 1826-1829 and married Margaretta McGonigal in 1827. I believe Henry had a brother named Joseph L. Kelly who also lived in Washington County and was a stone cutter. I am guessing McGonigal was from Derry area. No other information.

I appreciate all of the efforts and determination your site provides every research session!I am working on my father's ancestors at this time: McColm - working information: came from Scotland to Northern Ireland, John McColm, b- circa 1730; married Elizabeth Blair. Left County Tyrone, Ireland. Attacked by pirates on voyage to America - 28 September 1793, all possessions taken; arrived Baltimore 3 October 1793 (lost a child on voyage). McColms' were Weslayan Methodists, some preachers. From Baltimore settled in Oldtown, Allegheny County, Maryland. From Maryland the family(s) separated: Mecklinburg Co., North Carolina, etc.Generations later, my g-g-grandfather came to Oklahoma Territory (prior to statehood)as a building contractor; eventually went to Iowa, USA and my father moved to California from Iowa (relatives in Nebraska also). I was born in Sioux City, Iowa October 1945. These comments are minimum information, thanks for reading. Ray Harter
