Comments: This site is awesome and very well done. I have used 1000s of sites and this is one of the best. Great for researching my McAdoo and Moore lines. I will have to be looking for my brickwall with Catherine Isabell Johnstone of Belfast as well as my Ardstraw families. Here in Bonny Doon my kids are 6 generations on land from my maternal line of McAdoos. My gg grandfather, John Waters McAdoo, son of Robert McAdoo of Londonderry, who was in the 79th Highlanders of NY, fought and died in American Civil War and grandson of John McAdoo of Carrigans and Anne Moore (Daughter of Ezekiel Moore and Yally Bradin of Ballymacgroarty). John, Anne McAdoo along with their two children Robert and Sarah left for America in 1838.

Comments: Looking for any information about Peter Carrolan/Carolan/Carlin whose parents were Hugh Carolan and Mary Cassidy. Peter married Anne Rogers in Scotland in 1856 and the 1861 census indicates both parties born in Ireland. Hospital records for Peter revealed he was born in Tyrone. Cannot find marriage certificate/registration for Peter's parents, Hugh Carolan and Mary Cassidy. Any suggestion gratefully received!

Comments: Looking for any information about the family of David Wilson and Isabella Meldrum. They are my 3 X GG parents. He may have been a farmer in Co. Donegal parish of Stranorlar townland Kilross. They left Donegal about the mid 1840s and were in Toxteth Park for the 1851 English Census. Isabella and some of her children: William, Jane, John, David Henry and Richard, went to NSW. Her sister Mary Black and her family were already there. I have no idea what happened to David.
