Mottled polished grey granite obelisk on double plinth surmounted by urn.
Lettering incised; good condition. In double grave marked by 4 granite corner
pillars receiving squared metal bars with twists.

Sandstone headstone broken from plinth lying face down within grave surround
in 2 pieces. Surround of concrete kerb 400 high with cast iron railing 550 high,
half of which survives. Stumps of two ash trees within grave. Lettering incised
and lichen encrusted but legible. Headstone has heavy floral and leaf decoration
in relief below which was a recess containing mourning figure in marble, now
broken in pieces. Inscription incised on shield below figure.
