TYRONE ASSIZES HELD AT OMAGH, August 1824

On Wednesday last, the HON. BARON PENNEFATHER opened the Commission in the Crown Court at Omagh. After the Grand Jury had been sworn, which consisted of the following Gentlemen:

Thirty persons were convicted of practices connected with illicit distillation; 13 to be imprisoned one month, 14 two months, and one three months, and pay a fine of £5, and one for six weeks.
