Dungannon, Dec. 25, 1876 Description of WILLIAM SHIELDS, native of Beragh, who stands charged of having, on the 22nd of December 1876, in the Barony of East Omagh, parish of Termonmaguirk, burglariously entered the dwelling-house of PATRICK DONNELLY, of Gortfinbar, and stolen therefrom, a five-pound note, and four shillings in silver: Holds his head to one side; bald on top of head, gray eyes, long hooked nose, dark complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 50 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a black cap, black napped coat, cord trowsers, white moleskin vest.
Omagh, Dec 30 1876 Description of JAMES O’BRIEN, native of Kilcootry, who stands with having, on the 23rd December 1876, in the Barony of Clogher, in the parish of Donacavey, committed a serious assault upon JAMES DONNELLY, and having absconded after entering a bail for his appearance at Quarter Sessions: Gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark hair, dark whiskers and moustache; woke a dark coat, trowsers and vest; is a stonemason. He is supposed to have gone to Glasgow. Warrant issued for his arrest.
Cookstown, Jan. 27, 1877 Description of WILLIAM JAMES DEVLIN, native of Coolreagh, near Cookstown, who stands charged with having, on the 22nd January, 1877, in the Barony of Upper Dungannon, parish of Derryloran, absconded, taking with him property available for his creditors, he having been adjudicated a bankrupt: Straight active appearance and broad square shoulders; rather good-looking; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 38 years of age, light brown hair cut very short, large light brown whiskers,; wore a tweed coat, trowsers and vest. It is supposed he headed to Dublin on the night that he absconded.
