The Right Reverend William Alexander, D.D. Lord Bishop of Derry and Raphoe held a confirmation in St. James’ Church, Donagheady on Wednesday, 8th September 1886 when 19 young persons from the district Parish of Dunnalong and 62 from the parish of Donagheady received that Holy and Apostolic Rite from his Lordship’s hands.
