Surviving records of the congregation are: Typescript extracts from session minutes 1858; Baptisms, 1839-1946; Marriages, 1820-2 and 1845-1936; and have been microfilmed by the staff of PRONI, Belfast, where they may be consulted. PRONI Refs.: CR3/40MIC1P/446; MIC1P/460 Committee minutes, 1848-69; session minutes, 1850-1915; communicants’ roll book, 1889-1916 are held in the Presbyterian Historical Society, Belfast The condition of the original records, a degree of difficulty in discerning the handwriting and at times, poor quality of filming make transcription challenging and wherever possible, the Tamlaght tithe applotment book (1827), Griffiths Valuation (c1860), Index to Townlands and Towns,Parishes and Baronies in Ireland (1851) and Heather, Peat and Stone-O’Kane, have been consulted for confirmation of families and townland addresses.
