Date Historical Note 1622 Three townlands of Glebe. Incumbent resident and curate resides in a house given by Sir John Downham to that use 1666 Lewis Stewart was Pariah Clerk; Churchwardens: Andrew McMaines of Castleroddy and John McFarlane of Lislimnahane; Inquisitors: John McCay of Tirreur and James Newtoon (sic) of Balteny 1693 Clerk: Francis Stewart; no Schoolmaster; Churchwardens: Daniel Hunter and William Donaghy, 1692/3 1693/4 Churchwardens: John Stewart and Andrew McCasland. There are few parishioners; at present not above 40 conformable 1718 John Linch is Parish Clerk and Schoolmaster; Churchwardens: Francis Calhoune and Alexander Campbell 1719 Churchwardens: Francis Steward and Walter Buchanan 1768 Church is in good order. The Rector, Dr. Gibson is resident for the most part. Curate: James Taylor 1837 Divine Service was also performed in the School houses of Calkell, Carrigan, Castletown, Taereur (sic) and Mayne 1861 2,648 Church people in the Parish; and 2,329 Protestant Dissenters (Presbyterians).
