The following surviving early records for Ballyclog parish church have been microfilmed by the staff of PRONI, Belfast, where they may be consulted:
Baptisms, 1818-1929; Marriages, 1818-1932; Burials, 1818-1989; Preachers’ Books, 1876-1966; Vestry Minutes, 1828-1926; Sustenation Fund account book, 1870-97. PRONI Ref.: MIC583/4, 15; CR/1/42; CR/1/79; MIC1/312
The condition of the original marriage records, a degree of difficulty in discerning the handwriting and quality of filming make transcription challenging and wherever possible, the Ballyclog tithe applotment book (1826) and Griffiths Valuation (c1860) have been consulted in an attempt to confirm families and townland addresses.
