May 1 1906	RUTHERFORD. – April 30, at his father’s residence, Ardagh, James, second son of James and Martha Rutherford, aged 18 years. [His remains will be removed for interment in Monreagh Burying-ground to-morrow (Wednesday) morning, 2nd inst., at eleven o’clock. Friends will please accept this the only intimation].
May 12 1906	TEMPLETON. – The death took place with great suddenness yesterday of Mr. Hugh Templeton, for the last twenty-eight years manager Messrs. George McFarland & Company’s mills at Carrigans. Mr. Templeton, who was about sixty-three years of age, had been in failing health for some time past, but he had been attending to business as usual. After dinner as usual yesterday he left the table and, sitting down in an easy chair, passed away before anyone knew. Dr. Rankin was hurriedly summoned, but the deceased was beyond aid. Heart failure was the cause. A native of Scotland, Mr. Templeton, was first buyer for a Londonderry milling firm. He was appointed manager of the Carrigans Mills by the late Mr. George McFarland, and how fully the appointment was justified is well known. Mr. Templeton was not only a faithful official, but a highly respected resident of the district, and the news of his death cast quite a gloom over the local community, in which he was so long a familiar figure. He was predeceased nearly twenty years ago by his wife. He was a member of Monreagh Presbyterian Church, and the interment takes place on Monday at 12.30 in the burial-ground attached to the church.

Mar 30 1909	COLHOUN. - March 29, at the residence of her son-in-law, Samuel McGuinness, 20 Abercorn-road, Londonderry, Margaret, relict of the late John Colhoun, Gortagerty, Eglinton, and formerly of Drumlougher, county Donegal, aged 89 years. [Her remains will be removed for interment in Monreagh Burying-ground to-morrow (Wednesday), 31st inst., at twelve o’clock noon. Friends will please accept this the only intimation.]

Sep 29 1942	WILKIN – The funeral of Mr. Thomas George Wilkin took place on Sunday from his late residence in Carrigans to Monreagh Presbyterian Church Burying-Ground. There was a large attendance at the funeral, and included In the cortege, were many representatives of the Masonic Order, of which his father, Mr. George Wilkin, has been a life-long member. The services at the house and graveside were conducted by the Rev. W. G. Robinson, B.A., LLD., minister of Monreagh Presbyterian Church, and Rev. F. A. O’Hara, minister of St. Johnston Presbyterian Church.
Apr 29 1944	CORNER. - IN MEMORIAM. In loving memory of our dear brother, James, who departed this life on 29th April, 1921, and was interred in Monreagh Burying-ground. Nov 18 1947	McLINTOCK. – November 16, 1947, at her residence, Lusticle, County Donegal, Sarah Jamieson, widow of James McLintock, aged 69 years. Funeral this (Tuesday) afternoon, 18th inst., at 2 p.m., to Monreagh Burying-ground. Deeply regretted. “Thy will be done”.

Nov 8 1948	CROCKETT. - November 5, 1948, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, John Samuel, of Carnmoney, County Antrim, ex-P.E.T., Myroe, beloved husband of Minnie Crockett. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family. Funeral to Family Burying-ground, Monreagh, County Donegal, on Monday, 8th November at 2.30 p.m. (reaching Limavady about 1 p.m. and Londonderry about 2 p.m.).
Sep 15 1949	WILKIN. – At his residence, Carrigans, County Donegal, George, beloved husband of Annie J. Wilkin. Funeral to Monreagh Burying-ground, on to-morrow (Friday), 16th instant at 2 p.m.
Sep 17 1949	WILKIN. – The funeral took place yesterday to Monreagh Presbyterian Church Burying-ground of Mr. George Wilkin, Carrigans, the well-known East Donegal businessman, whose death took place on Wednesday and amongst the large attendance were many members of the masonic Order with which he was prominently identified. The chief mourners were his son, Mr. Fred Wilkin and Mr. H. Little, Londonderry, his son-in-law. St. John’s Masonic Lodge No. 281 was represented by Mr. J. McKean, W.M., and Mr. T. Hamilton, Secretary, while Mr. George McGarrigle, E.K., and Mr. T. H. Buchanan, Registrar, represented St. John’s Royal Arch Chapter No. 281. Amongst the Grand Lodge and District Grand Chapter officers present were Messrs. S. E. Cuthbertson, Caulfield Wilson, John A. Roulston, J. H. Bond, Rev. Canon D. Kelly, B.A., and Hugh Hill. The services at the house and graveside were conducted by Rev. W. G. Robinson, B.A., LLD., former minister, and Rev. S. M. McSparran, B.A., minister of Monreagh Presbyterian Church.
Feb 23 1950	BOYD. – February 22, 1950, at husband’s residence, Imlick, Carrigans, Co. Donegal, Margaret, dearly-beloved wife of Francis Boyd. Funeral to-morrow (Friday) afternoon 24th inst., at half-past two o’clock to Monreagh Burying-ground. House private. “Rest after suffering”.
Dec 27 1952	RUTHERFORD. – December 26, 1952, at her residence, Drumlougher, Carrigans, County Donegal, Sarah, daughter of the late Ephraim and Mary Rutherford. Funeral on to-morrow (Sunday), 28th inst., at 2.30 p.m. to Monreagh Church Burying-ground. Friends will please accept this the only intimation.
Nov 12 1953	ROBINSON. – A very large attendance at the funeral on Tuesday of Rev. William George Robinson, B.A., LL.D., for forty-five years minister of Monreagh Presbyterian Church. The Moderator of the General Assembly (Right Rev. Principal J. E. Davey, D.D.) who was attending another funeral at the same hour in Belfast, was unable to be present. The Church of Ireland was represented by the Dean od Raphoe (Very Rev. J. K. Beattie, M.A., B.D.), and the Rev. Canon D. Kelly, B.A., incumbents of the neighbouring parishes of Taughboyne and Killea respectively. A short service was conducted in the Manse by Rev. J. Kilgore, B.A., and Rev. S. McVicker, B.A., and the interment took place in the churchyard at Monreagh following a service in Monreagh Church, conducted by the Moderator of Derry Presbytery (Rev. W. A. Montgonery, M.A.) The remains were borne by members of the Session and Committee of Monreagh Church from the Manse to the church, and from there to their last resting place.
May 13 1954	HUNTER. – May 12, 1954, at his residence, Monreagh, Carrigans, William, beloved husband of Margaret Hunter. Funeral on to-morrow (Friday), 14th inst., at 3 o’clock p.m., to Monreagh Burying-ground.
