Dec 11 1830 Love – On Tuesday, the 29th ult., Doctor George Love, of Dungiven, aged 35 years. He, for 10 months suffered from acute rheumatism, he is survived by his little family, who are left to mourn an irreparable loss (Londonderry Sentinel)
Dec 10 1831 McCullough (Scanlan) – On Sunday night, the 13th ult., Eliza McCullough, aged 33 years, wife of Doctor David Graham McCullough, of Dungiven, late Assistant Surgeon of His Majesty's 84th York and Lancaster Regiment of Foot. Mrs. McCullough, was the only daughter to Matthew Scanlan, of Ballycahane Castle, county Limerick. She leaves a sickly husband and seven young children to deplore their irreparable loss (Londonderry Sentinel)

Apr 18 1835 Harrison – At Garvagh, on the 6th inst., Surgeon Henry Cary Harrison, aged 77 years, eldest son of the Rev. Henry Harrison, Curate of Dungiven, and later Rector of Upper and Lower Teyore, in the Diocese of Derry. Roger Harrison, formerly collector of customs and excise, was uncle to Surgeon Harrison, whose sister, Jane, died unmarried, in Londonderry. The deceased was the only son of Mr. William Christy, of Dungiven, county Londonderry, and had resided in America for 26 years (Londonderry Sentinel)
Jan 27 1838 McCurdy – On Friday the 19th inst., in the 69th year of his age, John McCurdy, Esq., of Ballymaclara, Magilligan. He was descended from Lachlane McCurdy, who served as an officer in the army of William III, from the relief of Londonderry, 1689, to the end of the war of the Revolution 1691, and was rewarded for his service with a grant of land near Dungiven, which continues in the family. Exemplary in his relations of husband and father, he was interred in the burying place in Tamlaghtard (Londonderry Sentinel)

Feb 13 1857 Candon –On Friday, the 6th inst., an inquest was held in Coruddie, in the parish of Dungiven, before William Lane, Esq., M. D., coroner, on the body of John Candon, who died on the 4th inst. It appeared from the evidence given that four men and one woman by the name of Cromie, a man named Patrick McCloskey, and two others, had, on the evening of the 13th ult., been drinking in Candon's, on their return from Maghera. A dispute having arisen, owing to Candon's spilling some whiskey, they commenced fighting, when Candon received injuries from which he did not recover and died on the 4th inst. A very respectable jury, mostly from Dungiven, by their verdict found James, Edward and John Cromie, with Patrick McCloskey, guilty of manslaughter (Londonderry Sentinel)
