Date Death Jun 15 1825 STEWART. Sir J. Stewart, Member for Tyrone, was killed on Saturday, by a fall from a pony phaeton, near Ballygawley (Hereford Journal) Oct 22 1829 DEVANNY. An inquest was held on Monday last, at Ballygawley, within a few miles of this town, on the body of Eleanor Devanny, who had been drowned in a well; the poor women was subject to frequent fits of epilepsy, and it is supposed that while in the act of drawing water from the well, she was attacked by this dreadful malady, which depriving her from self-possession, in an instant, she was plunged head downward, into the water, and death soon released her from her mortal sufferings (Enniskillen Chronicle and Lough Packet) Dec 16 1830 STEWART (GAGE). September 29, ten days after having given birth of a son, at Strieve Hill, the seat of her brother, Marcus Gage, Esq., in the prime of life, and deeply regretted by her afflicted family and friends, Julia, the wife of Sir Hugh Stewart, of Ballygawley House, Bart., M.P. for the county of Tyrone (Enniskillen Chronicle and Lough Erne Packet) Jan 8 1834 STEWART. At Ballygawley, county of Tyrone, Thomas Bell, Esq., surgeon in the Royal Navy (Londonderry Sentinel) Jun 5 1839 NEELY. Suddenly at his residence, Glencull, near Ballygawley, on the 19th ult., Mr. William Neely, aged 51 years. He was universally respected while living, and his death is now deeply deplored by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance (Londonderry Standard) Jan 11 1840 DICKSON.
