December 10 1836 DARLEY: [Died] With feelings of deep regret we announce the death of the Rev. John Darley, late fellow of Trinity College, and Rector of Arboe, in the county of Tyrone. Mr. Darley was a distinguished scholar, a profound theologian, and a sincere and pious minister of the Gospel. He has left a widow and a young family to grieve over his loss. He was gentle, generous and kind, and pupils were always attached to him, he had a rare memory, and his talents generally were of a high order. He delighted in teaching; and had he been spared, he could doubtless had rapidly risen in his profession (Ballymena Observer)
